Duterte has been feeling the victory since he has been leading the presidential race since the start of the counting of the votes even in the unofficial vote results.

A photo shared on Facebook really warmed the hearts and even teary-eyed many seeing the hard-looking Duterte crying on his parents’ tombs.

His father, Vicente, was once the governor of Davao while his mother, Soledad was a public school teacher.

According to the description of the photo, Facebook user Edith Ging Z. Caduaya said that the upcoming 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines was actually a Mama’s boy.

Edith also mentioned that while Duterte was crying, he pleaded, “Tabangi ko, Ma! (Help me, Mom).”

Being a self-confessed Mama’s boy, Duterte said that “he long wanted to cry aloud but was too busy for the campaign.”

According to the latest partial and unofficial results of the election as of 2:30 PM, May 10, 2016, basing on the 91.92% of the Election Returns, Duterte now has 15, 415,326 votes leading all the other presidential candidates with huge margins.

The Davao City Mayor and upcoming President of the Philippines have been known to the public to be a “hard-speaking” person but as seen in the photos, one can really think that this man still has a soft spot.

A video of Duterte while crying can also be seen. He seemed to be overwhelmed on how the people responded to his candidacy – making a landslide mob vote.
