Fistfight with Poe’s hubby? Not true, says Chiz Escudero’s camp.
Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero’s camp denied alleged fistfight between him and Teodoro Misael Llamanzares, husband of his running mate Sen. Grace Poe.
According to an article published by the Philippine Entertainment Portal, alleged rift between the senator and the businessman reportedly was due to a reported missing P300 million campaign fund.
The report noted that the fistfight scene happened at the headquarters of “Partido Galing at Puso”.
Well-known writer and TV personality Teddy Locsin Jr. even took to micro-blogging site, Twitter where he hinted about the alleged fistfight.
I heard someone in the Poe camp boxed someone in the Poe camp. He was asking for a missing P300 million. Look out for a black eye.

Here’s the official statement of Sen. Chiz Escudero’s camp:
“There is absolutely no truth to the reported rift between Senator Escudero and Mr. Llamanzares.”
“Senator Escudero and the entire Poe-Llamanzares family continue to remain solidly close to each other as friends.”
“This alleged conflict that resulted in a fist fight is another mutation of a black propaganda aimed at dividing the strong Poe-Escudero tandem.”
“Senator Poe and Senator Escudero will not allow their opponents to use this elections as a reason to drive a wedge between their relationship.”
“They will continue to advance the campaign of Gobyernong may Puso together side by side.”
“Our critics should give up on their desire to make the discourse of this elections personal and instead focus on the real issues of poverty and unemployment.”
