Bongbong Marcos Leads in Latest Vice Presidential Pulse Asia Survey

Bongbong Marcos dominated in latest Pulse Asia Survey.

Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. leads the latest Pulse Asia “Pulso ng Bayan” survey administered by network giant, ABS-CBN.

The vice presidential candidate topped the survey which was conducted from April 16-20, 2016 with 29 percent followed by Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo with 24 percent.

Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero, on the other hand, clinched on the third spot with 18 percent followed by Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano with 16 percent.

Senators Gringo Honasan and Antonio Trillanes IV maintained their spot after respectively garnering 4 and 3 percent.

Bongbong Marcos ruled in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Balance Luzon with 39 and 37 percent, respectively while Robredo, the Liberal Party vice presidential bet dominated in Visayas with 33 percent.

Cayetano, the PDP-Laban vice presidential bet and is the running mate of presidential frontrunner Rodigo Duterte was the top choice in Maindanao with 34 percent.

Meanwhile, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte maintained his lead in the latest survey despite post-controversial remark to an incident that happened in 1989 which involved an Australian missionary.

The tough-talking candidate scored 35 percent followed by Grace Poe who scored 23 percent.

Liberal Party standard-bearer, on the other hand scored 17 percent while Vice President Jejomar Binay and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago scored 16 percent and 2 percent respectively.
