The tough-talking mayor of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) has caught up with Senator Grace Poe to share the top spot in the latest Pulse Asia Survey commissioned by ABS-CBN. According to the Pulse Asia Survey results Sen. Grace Poe leads the survey with 26 percent while Mayor Rody Duterte got 25 percent.
Pulse Asia and ABS-CBN stated that a total of 4,000 respondents were surveyed by the poll body, the survey has a ± 1.5 percent error margin at 95 percent confidence level, Duterte and Poe are “statistically tied” for first place.
Aside from Sen. Grace Poe and Mayor Rody Duterte, not far behind them is Vice President Jejomar Binay got 22 percent while Liberal Party bet Mar Roxas got 20 percent and Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago got 3 percent. The survey was conducted from March 8 to 13.
In terms of geographic area, Sen. Grace Poe was leading in the National Capital Region (30 percent) and the rest of Luzon (34 percent). Mar Roxas is still the top choice of respondents in the Visayas (36 percent) while Mayor Rodrigo Duterte dominated in Mindanao (46 percent).
According to Pulse Asia Survey, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte remains the top choice of respondents from Class ABC while Sen. Grace Poe is the leading choice of those belonging in Class D and E, while Sen. Grace Poe was considered the top pick as second choice bet.
