The tough-talking mayor of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte now ranked as the second most popular candidate in the Philippines based upon the survey results released by Pulse Asia and ABS-CBN poll. Despite the fact that everywhere Mayor Duterte goes, thousands of his followers converge but the survey results was in contrary to what social media saw.
Sen. Grace Poe maintained her lead in the pre-election survey conducted by Pulse Asia-ABS-CBN, it was conducted days before the Supreme Court cleared Sen. Grace Poe to run for President.
Based upon the latest Pulse Asia survey results, Sen. Grace Poe got 28% while Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, the most popular candidate on social media ranked second with 24%. Following Mayor Duterte is Vice President Binay got 21 percent and Liberal Party standard-bearer with 20%.
The Pulse Asia survey results also noted that the op pick of respondents from the National Capital Region (30 percent) and the rest of Luzon (36 percent). Visayas remains the bailiwick for Mar Roxas (37 percent) while Mayor Duterte is the top choice in Mindanao with 47 percent.
The survey was conducted from March 1 to 6, with 2,600 respondents who are registered voters with bio metrics and a ± 1.9% error margin at the 95 percent confidence level.
