Vice Presidential candidate Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano vows to solve the corruption problems in the Philippines once elected as Vice President by levelling the playing field between the rich and the poor. He described the fate of poor Filipinos right now, petty criminals got to jail while the corrupt people become public officials.
During the proclamation rally of the Duterte-Cayetano tandem in Tondo, the senator lamented how poor Filpinos gripped by poverty easily get into jail while the crooks get elected into public office.
He was quoted as saying “Sa Pilipinas ba bawal magnakaw? Bawal magnakaw ng konti. Pag nagnakaw ka ng konting tinapay dahil gutom ang iyong pamilya, kulong ka. Pag nagnakaw ka ng antibiotic kasi maysakit ang iyong ina, kulong ka,” his statement draws a loud applause from the crowd.
The Vice Presidential candidate Cayetano added further ““Pero pag nagnakaw ka ng malaki, magiging mayor ka. Pag nagnakaw ka ng mas malaki, magiging congressman ka. Pag nagnakaw ka ng ninakaw ng maraming congressman, magiging senador ka. At kapag ikaw ay sanggang-dikit ni Napoles, magiging pangulo ka ng Republika ng Pilipinas,” he added.
If elected Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano vowed to level the playing field for both the rich and the poor and noted further that the country is now in chaos because of corruption.
The Duterte-Cayetaon tandem which is considered as highly popular on social media is running undr the platform of ending criminality, illegal drugs and corruption in government.
