Senator JV Ejercito was mentioned by the name-dropping colorum driver who was apprehended by a traffic enforcer who stands his ground in a viral video, but the senator denied having association with the motorist. The senator made an official post denying association with the driver on his official Facebook Page.
According to Sen. JV Ejercito, the driver whom he named as Jun was a resident of San Juan but he was never part of his staff in the Senate.
The Senator posted the following message on Facebook:
To those asking, Jun – the man caught on cam brazenly violating traffic rules and apprehended by a traffic officer – is in no way connected to me and my Senate office. Yes, Jun is a resident of San Juan. But he was never part of my staff. It is unfortunate that he had to name drop me and my office just to get away with a traffic violation. Just want to make this clear with the video going viral in social media.
The video that went viral on social media earned some positive feedbacks towards the traffic enforcer who stands his grounds during the apprehension. Although the traffic enforcer was warned by the violator that he could lose his job once he will continue to issue a ticket to the colorum driver, the statement of the violator did not stop the enforcer from performing his job.
