MMFF 2015 Box Office Gross Earnings Reached P834 Million after 9 Days of Showing

The Metro Manila Film Festival executive committee announced on Sunday through their official Facebook account that the annual film festival which is celebrating its 41st year of entertaining the Filipino have already reached a whooping P834 million in box office gross earnings after just nine (9) days of nationwide showing.

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) considered as the organizers of the yearly film festival also revealed the top four earners from December 25, 2015 to January 2, 2016.

MMDA did not reveal the exact amount of each film’s box office earnings instead they just revealed the Top Four Movies in no particular order. They are “My Bebe Love,” “Beauty and the Beastie,” “Haunted Mansion,” and “Walang Forever.”

According to MMFF executive committee they will reveal the exact box office numbers for each official MMFF-entry movie this coming January 6, 2016.

According to some showbiz insiders, this is the fifth day in a row that the rankings of the box office earnings of the MMFF-entry movies remained unchanged.

One of the movie that made it to the elite list of Top Four highest grossing MMFF-entry, the movie “Walang Forever,” featuring Jennylyn Mercado and Jericho Rosales, entered the top four rankings last December 29, two days after winning the Best Picture Awards and the Top Acting Honors.
