The host of this year’s Asia Pacific Cooperation CEO Summit, President Benigno S. Aquino III blames the previous administration of former Pres. Arroyo and once again attack his political oppenents while touting his achievements during his more than five years in office.
Pres. Aquino used his opening speech during the 2015 APEC CEO Summit to attack the previous administrations and other political rivals as he cited the the theme of the 2015 APEC “APEC’s Incluvise Growth Imperative.”
During the APEC CEO Summit held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel on Monday afternoon, President Aquino along with Business leaders from different parts of Asia, North and South American countries, the Philippine president enumerated some of his achievements as chief executive of the Republic of the Philippines.
The 54-year-old Pres. Aquino began his remarks by describing the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution as “the root of the healthy Philippine democracy of today.’ “After fourteen years of Martial Law, our people were successful in lifting my mother into the Presidency to lead the rebuilding of our nation,” he said.
