The tough-talking Mayor of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte threatened to release a video to the Senate of the Philippines of the alleged “tanim-bala” modus at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) if the perpetrators do not stop their activities which victimized mostly innocent OFW’s.
During a press briefing held on Thursday, Mayor Duterte revealed that someone gave him the video in which some NAIA employees were caught inserting bullets in the side pockets of bags passing through the airport x-ray machines.
Although the mayor has the evidence, he stated that he will give the perpetrators a chance to confess to he modus, but if they continue to deny it, he will give the video to the Senate committee investigating the matter.
Mayor Duterte’s main concern is that the bullets inserted in the bags of the victims would not be detected at NAIA and instead be discovered in other countries which would automatically sent the victims to jail.
