A female senior citizen identified as Rhonda Felizmeña is gearing up to grace the stage at the Mutya ng Taguig 2024 pageant scheduled for May 25, 2024 (Saturday).
Felizmeña will be representing Barangay Pitogo, one of the EMBO Barangays transferred to Taguig, Felizmeña stands as the lone senior citizen among the 35 candidates competing for the prestigious title.
This year, the Taguig City government made a huge change byraising the maximum age limit and disregarding marital or parental status requirements for candidates, allwing Felizmeña to qualify for the screening process.
Felizmeña’s courageous spirit has earned admiration from netizens, who lauded her confidence in competing alongside younger candidates.
