The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority issued a traffic advisory for the highly anticipated Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting in Metro Manila. The APEC Summit 2015 will be held this coming November 16-20, 2015.
According to MMDA several roads in Metro Manila will be closed to traffic during the event. The MMDA already issued the traffic advisory and rerouting scheme to inform the motorists during the APEC Summit.
Here’s the Traffic Advisory and Rerouting Scheme:
Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak to MIA and NAIA road will be fully closed on both directions starting November 16, 2015 at 12:01 a.m. to November 20, 2015.
Road closures in the Mall of Asia Arena will be from November 18, 2015 starting 6 a.m. until midnight.
Road closures in the Cultural Center of the Philippines area will be from November 16 to 20, 2015.
The MMDA designated APEC lanes along EDSA, the two innermost lanes of EDSA from Shaw Boulevard to Roxas Boulevard on both directions would strictly be used for authorized vehicles from November 16 to 20.
The agency noted motorists may use the Mabuhay Lanes as an alternate routes going to their destination, however, they reminded motorists that number coding will be implemented during the APEC Summit on November 16-20, 2015.
