World-renowned boxing promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank Boxing had already proposed a date for the Filipino boxing icon, Manny Pacquiao’s farewell fight but his opponent won’t be named until the end of November 2015. Bob Arum clarified that his camp is still waiting on how the next several weeks will unfold.
Some of the potential opponent of Manny Pacquiao for his farewell boxing fight includes the undefeated American Terence Crawford after the boxer retained his WBO light welterweight title with a 10th round stoppage of Canadian Dierry Jean.
Top Rank was also considering the results of the November 7th boxing match between Timothy Bradley and Brandon Rios fight and whoever wins between the two will have to wait for another two weeks to see if Canelo beats Cotto because the winner of Bradley-Rios could also fit against Canelo.
Manny Pacquiao’s previous victims Timothy Bradley and Brandon Rios, will slug it out for the WBO welterweight crown on Nov. 11 at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas while Canelo Alvarez and Miguel Cotto face off 10 days later also in Las Vegas.
