The country’s “Queen of All Media,” Kris Aquino is leaving the top-rating show “Aquino & Abunda Toight” as confirmed by Kris Aquino herself. Kris Aquino made an official announcement of leaving the TV show at the press conference for her upcoming film “Etiquette for Mistresses” on Wednesday.
According to the 44-year-old Kris Aquino she will return on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Monday for her final week. She was quoted as saying “Babalik po ako sa ‘Aquino & Abunda’ on Monday for my final week ” she said. “Alam n’yo the health issues I went through. I cannot shoot a movie and do two daily shows.”
Kris Aquino refers to her role in the highly anticipated movie “Etiquette for Mistresses” which will be in cinemas this coming September 30, 2015.
Aside from the Star Cinema movie, the TV host and actress also revealed to the media that she is slated to do the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”
The co-host of Kris Aquino in the show “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” will handle the show while the actress will worked on her film. The show will also be renamed into “Boy Abunda Tonight.” It has been three months already since she failed to appear in the top-rating talk show on national TV.
The top-rating show “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” debuted on February 2014.
