Bagyong Goring Leaves PAR

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration confirmed through various news media organization in the country that Bagyong Goring (international name: Halola) has left the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Saturday morning but warned the public that a Low Pressure Area might enter the country in the next few days.

According to the 4:30 AM weather bulletin of PAGASA, Bagyong Goring was already outside PAR and was located at 1,040 kilometers northeeast of Basco, Batanes.

Bagyong Goring has maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It is expected to continue moving northwest at 15 kph. The latest weather disturbance entered the Philippines on Thursday but did not directly affect any part of the country.

PAGASA also announced through their official website that a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was located based on all available data at 460 km east northeast of Tuguegarao City. The weather bulletin was released by PAGASA through their website at around 11:00 AM today, July 25, 2015.
