The coaching changes in two of the country’s most popular teams are not yet final although Tim Cone’s leading the Brgy. Ginebra bench was already announced by the San Miguel Management.

According to a source, he told Inquirer that San Miguel Corporation management is now seriously considering Richard del Rosario for the job as head coach of Purefoods because of his immense knowledge of the Star’s star-studded lineup.

The former Santa Lucia cager, Richard Del Rosario, has been one of the team’s assistant coaches since the time of Jorge Gallent in 2010. He is considered as the longest-sitting deputy on the Star bench aside from being the head coach of St. Benilde Blazers in the NCAA.

Jason Webb on his part, came only in the last season of the PBA, and can be considered as an upstart compared to all the others in the roster of assistants in the San Miguel conglomerate.

The San Miguel management is expected to make the announcement of the changes any day now.
