Local Government and various schools located in the areas under Tropical Storm “Egay,” have already declared suspension of classes today, Monday, July 6, 2015. LGU’s and schools that suspended their classes are enumerated below.
Works in different LGU’s affected by Bagyong Egay were also suspended by their respective government offices in various provinces. The provincial capitol of La Union, excluding employees performing vital functions suspended their work.
According to PAGASA, as of 1:00 PM today, Bagyong Egays was spotted at 190 km Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
It was packing maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 100 kph. It is forecast to move north at 7 kph.
