Kapamilya actress Kris Aquino and Kim Chiu leads the powerful casts of the highly anticipated movie “Etiquette for Mistresses” which will feature Claudine Barretto, Iza Calzado and returning comedienne Cheena. The movie according to ABS-CBN has been years in the making, under the direction of veteran director Chito Rono.
The announcement of the complete casts of “The Mistresses” was revealed on Friday with no less than the director of the movie at the Star Cinema office.
The movie is based on the Julie Yap-Daza book “Etiquette for Mistresses and What Wives Can Learn From Them. According to director Chito Rono, all the five main characters will play mistresses of different men.
For Iza Calzado’s character she will have an affair with a news anchor, while Claudine Baretto’s role features her as the other woman of a business tycoon. Kris Aquino’s character is a chef, well-mannered and soft-spoken despite her illicit involvement while Kris Chiu who is considered as the youngest at 25, did not share which kind her mistress character will be.
Although the movie talked about the story of the mistresses, the film “is not glorifying nor judging” extra-marital affairs but there are lessons to be learned according to the powerhouse casts of the movie.
