The city of Cebu made headlines once again, after the so-called “Laglag Barya” gang went viral during the past few days. This time around another robbery incident was caught by CCTV cameras and currently making the rounds online. The video footage of a security camera installed in a fastfood restaurant in Panagdait, Mabolo, Cebu City caught the robbery during broad daylight.
Based upon the video footage which already went viral online, the video showed three persons conspired to rob a bag from one of the customer of a Burger King outlet in Cebu City.
According to the video uploader who identified himself as Kenny Tiu, the incident occurred on Saturday at around 4:00PM, showed the three suspects surround a male victim, a family member of Tiu who waited for a meal.
During the incident which was captured on camera, the first suspect intentionally bumped the victim’s table to distract him while the two accomplices sneaked from behind and grabbed the bag. The three immediately fled the restaurant and only later on that the victim realized he was robbed.
In a news report posted by Cebu Daily News, the victim, Tiu stated that they reported to the police but they were told that it is hard for them to arrest the suspects merely by showing their faces from the security camera footage.

Do not leave your valuables unattended even for a second or have your bag strapped with you at all times.We tried reporting to the police and filed a report- we are waiting for an update from them nalang.
