President Benigno Aquino III seemed to have slowly gained back the trust of Filipinos as public satisfaction rating measured by the Social Weather Stations rose 10 percentage points since last March.

SWS survey showed increase from 47 percent in March to 57 percent as satisfaction rating towards Aquino’s performance.
27 percent of the respondents were not satisfied with how Aquino led the administration showing an improvement from the 36 percent last survey.
The president’s net public satisfaction bounced back to a “good” +30 from “moderate” +11 last March.
Malacanang meanwhile graced the development saying they will continue to intensify the efforts to achieve long-term inclusive growth.
“President Aquino is gratified that our Bosses, the Filipino people, recognize the efforts of his administration to improve the delivery of public services and continue implementing vital reforms so that the fruits of good governance and may be sustained and made permanent,” Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma said.
“We will intensify efforts to accelerate the development of public infrastructure, broaden social protection, and strengthen public institutions so that the ultimate objective of achieving long-term inclusive growth may be attained,” he added.
