PAGASA Raised Signal No. 4 in Luzon as Bagyong Dodong Strengthens

PAGASA raised the public storm warning signals in some areas of Luzon announcing that Signal No. 4 will affect the following areas of North Eastern Cagayan, Batanes, Babuyan, and Calayan Group of Islands. The extreme temperature from the ocean has fueled the strength of Bagyong Dodong.

According to PAGASA, Bagyong Dodng is expected to make its landfall between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. in Sta. Ana point in Cagayan Sunday. The high tide is expected around 5 p.m.

At around 11:00 AM on Sunday, Bagyong Dodong was located at 125 km East Southeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Bagyong Dodong is packing maximum sustaine winds of 185 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 220 kph. It is moving in the northwest direction with a speed of 20 kph.

Signal 3 is now over the rest of Cagayan and Isabela.

Signal 2, meanwhile, is hoisted over Northern Aurora, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, and Apayao.

Signal 1, on the other hand, is raised over the rest of Aurora, Abra, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, and Quirino.
