PAGASA Raised Signal No. 3 in Three Areas Due to Bagyong Dodong

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) already raised the Public Storm Warning Signal No. 3 in three areas of Luzon on Saturday, May 9, 201t as Bagyong Dodong moves closer to make a landfall in Catanduanes.

Based upon the 11:00 AM advisory, PAGASA said that Bagyong Dodong was last spotted 210 kilometers northeast of Virac, Catanduanes. Bagyong Dodong packd a maximum sustained winds of 160 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 195 kph.

PAGASA raisd Signal No. 3 over Cagayan, Isabela and Northern Aurora, these areas should expect winds of 121 to 170 kph in at least 18 hours.

PAGASA added that Bagyong Dodong is expected to bring heavy to intense rainfall within its 200-kilometer diameter and a storm surges of up to 2.5 meters are possible overt the Eastern coast of Camarines Sur, Quezon and Isabela.
