While walking, the Maroon 5 front man and “The Voice” coach was pelted by someone from the crowd with powdered sugar.

The sugar-bombing covered almost half of his face and most of what looked like a perfectly nice sweater.

Reports said that Levine was greeting the fans when the attack happened.

The prankster who thrown powdered sugar was detained by the attending security and was later arrested for battery.

Levin, who incidentally have a song entitled ‘Sugar’, had just appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show that evening to perform with the band and sat down for a chat with the host.
