As Prince Harry graced the fans awaiting near the Sydney Opera House in Australia, a lucky fan managed to land a kiss to the prince.
Victoria McRae who was wearing a crown and a sign board with “Marry me Prince Harry, last chance” on it, was amongst the crowds but was the only lucky to almost land a kiss on the prince’s lips.
“He let me kiss him on the cheek but then I went in for it…The rest was history. It was everything – I’m very happy. I reminded him it was the third [proposal].”, she said in a local interview.
McRae also attempted to propose to the prince two years ago.
The prince who is also known as Captain Wales is ending his month-long attachment with the Australian Defense Force.
Captain Wales served with Aboriginal reconnaissance troops in remote northern Australia and with the country’s elite SAS soldiers.
Prince Harry has been an army officer for ten years and plans to leave the Armed Forces in June.
After missing the birth of his new niece Princess Charlotte, the prince assured that he will be bringing cuddly toys given to him by his fans as souvenirs from Australia to his niece.
“I’m looking forward to meeting her—she’s beautiful,” he said.
The prince is set to travel New Zealand for a weeklong visit before returning to Britain.
