The all-Filipino group once again proved supremacy in shadow play as they moved the judges with the story of a family torn by war but reunited again in the live semi-finals episode.

In the live semifinals episode of “Asia’s Got Talent,” the all-Filipino group once again moved judges, this time with a story of a family torn by war but reunited eventually.

For a slot in the grand finals, the shadow play performance was hailed as a “golden act” by the judges.

Indonesian music icon Anggun, who was impressed with the performance, made the group to advance in the finals.

“I’m sorry,” the Indonesian music icon said, “I’m just extremely moved by what I just saw. It was really emotional. You made me really proud tonight. I’m sure you made Filipinos proud tonight. Thank you. That was flawless.”

El Gama Penumbra will join fellow Filipino performers Gerphil Flores, Gwyneth Dorado and dance group Junior New System in the final leg of the completion set on May 7 and 14 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
