Broadway diva Lea Salonga wowed the audience and brought the house down at The Theater at Solaire with her incomparable rendition of “Defying Gravity”, Tuesday.
Her song rendition of “Defying Gravity” from well-acclaimed musical “Wicked” also gained the favor of most citizens after her video performance was posted on ABS-CBN news portal official Facebook page.
Fans posted comments and extended admiration to the “chilling” performance of the Broadway star.
Salonga was launched as the latest ambassador of haircare brand Cream Silk, along with actresses Anne Curtis, Toni Gonzaga and Heart Evangelista.
The Broadway star who also sits as the coach of “The Voice of the Philippines” also sang the all-time theater favorite “On my Own” which she originally sang in “Les Miserable” in 1993 when she played as Eponine.
