James “Bimby” Aquino Yap Jr., the son of actress-host Kris Aquino will be the surprise guest of The Voice Kids runner-up Darren Espanto in his upcoming birthday concert this coming May 29, 2015 at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The confirmation regarding the appearance of the child star was made possible by the Queen of All Media herself. Darren Espanto’s upcoming concert will be entitled, “D Total Performance Birthday Party.”
Kris Aquino said that they are supposed to have a vacation that day but since her son is going to attend the concert she decided to move it on the following day.
“Because that is your concert date and he (Bimby) is your special surprise guest — surprise na ni-reveal ko na — na-delay ang bakasyon to May 30,” the 44-year-old actress/host noted.
The 13-year-old Filipino-Canadian singer is a regular guest on Kris Aquino’s morning show Kris TV. He is the one who sang the them of Kris TV summer special, ” “Kris & Bimby Summer TV.”
Aside from Bimby, former contestants of “The Voice of the Philippines” such as Jason Dy, Alisah Banaobra and first-ever winner of The Voice, Mitoy Yunting will also join the solo concert of Darren Espanto.
Darren Espanto came to prominence upon joining kids edition of “The Voice of the Philippines.” He was even tagged as the “Total Performer.” He is also holding several records such as youngest artist to hold a major solo concert and a concert tour at the age of 13.
