Manny Pacquiao Face to Face with Floyd Mayweather for the First Time (Video)

Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and the world’s no. 1 pound-for-pound boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. came face to face for the very first time since the last time when they met at a hotel in Miami. The meeting of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather happened during the first press conference for the mega-bout this coming May 2, 2015.

The joint press conference of the upcoming mega-bout featuring the eight-division world boxing champion, Manny Paquiao and the undefeated American boxer and considered as the no. 1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Floyd Mayweather Jr. happened at the Hollywood in Los Angeles, California.

During the joint press conference of HBO Sports and Showtime the two executives of both network Stephen Espinoza of Showtime and HBO Sports President Ken Hershman. According to the HBO Sports President on Wednesday, the event will “transcends boxing for sure and will probably transcend sport,” while Stephen Espinoza called it a “monumental event.”

During the press conference the 36-year-old Manny Pacquiao was quoted as saying “The fight is on and we’re very excited. Both of us will undergo hard training and we will do our best on May 2 to make you happy.” he said.

The 38-year-old Floyd Mayweather who smartly clad in a dove gray suit and pale stripped shirt predicted that he would emerge with his unbeaten record intact. He was quoted as saying “I believe in my skill. I believe in myself,” said the 38-year-old, who will put his 47-0 record on the line.
