Presidential sister and actress Kris Aquino noted on Sunday that she is now preparing for the worst possible scenario after his brother, President Aquino will step down from office. According to Kris Aquino she expects the President to face cases, which will be filed against him by his political opponents.
The “Queen of All Media,” Kris Aquino also noted during an interview that she would not run in the 2016 elections, saying that she needs to support her brother.
The TV-host and actress was quoted as saying “Let’s be honest, maraming magiging kaso next year (na isasampa laban sa Presidente),” she said on Sunday on “The Buzz.”(Let’s be honest: there are many cases to be filed (against the President).
President Benigno S. Aquino III’s term will expire on June 30, 2016, and the Presidential sister noted that she is prioritizing her family over political ambition.
Superstar Nora Aunor asked Kris Aquino if she is eyeing a government post in the 2016 elections, so the TV-host responded by noting that she will not run for political office.
According to Kris Aquino, she is also focusing on growing her restaurant franchise, wanting to have eight branches by 2016, denying rumors that circulated in 2014 that she is mulling a vice presidential bid to which she denied.
