Representative Manny Pacquiao and Negros Occidental Representative Julio Ledesma IV were tops the list of absentee congressmen for the year 2014. Congressman Manny Pacquiao and Cong. Julio Ledesma IV were present only seven days out of the 70 session days from January 20 to December 17, 2014.
The Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao had two fights last year, the first against Timothy Bradley last April followed by a Chris Algieri fight in November, wherein he won in both occassions.
The third-thermer Rep. Julio Ledesma IV was physically present only seven days, doing constituency work for 14 days and was listed as absent without leave for 13 days.
According to the latest records of the House of Representative, a total of 65 out of the 290 members of the House of Representatives, or 22%, registered perfect attendance in sessions based on the official records from the chamber.
