Metro Manila’s 2015 New Year’s Eve Fireworks Video Went Viral

Metro Manila fireworks caught the world’s attention after a viral video of the New Year’s Eve celebration was posted on YouTube and went viral immediately garnering more than a million views in the world’s biggest video-sharing site. The viral video of Metro Manila’s fireworks has gained the attention of international websites in the US and the UK.

The viral video which was shoot in an unspecified skyscrapers in Metro Manila such as in Mandaluyong, Makati and other sites, showcased how Filipinos celebrated their New Year 2015 with fireworks display.

According to an article published by Newsweek, the Manila’s fireworks displays “won New Year’s Eve,” doubting that other cities have done better.

Social media website and one of the world’s most prominent blog, Mashble, described the fireworks display in Metro Manila as “bonkers,” and declared that the city “dominated New Year’s Eve celebrations.”

The Independent Journal Review also made an article about the Manila firework display and found it “breathtaking,” while the Australian website Triple M stated that the capital of the Philippines, Metro Manila welcomed the New Year “with a series bang.”
