The “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” 2nd Big Placer Maris Racal will star with her former fellow PBB housemate Manolo Pedrosa in the upcoming movie “Star Versus Me.”
In an interview with Pep.ph, the Star Magic artist said that she is happy because it’s a dream come true for her to experience doing a movie, adding that she is very grateful.
“Happy po ako kasi it’s a dream come true para sa akin. Parang na-experience ko na kung ano ang mga behind the scenes, kung paano ang nangyayari sa isang movie. Parang na-experience ko na kaya I’m very grateful,” she said.
According to Maris Racal, she will play the role of a girl who believes in horoscope after she was influenced by her mother, who will be portrayed by Matet De Leon.
“Ako po, isang girl na naniniwala sa horoscope dahil sa mommy. Mommy ko po rito si Matet de Leon. Siya po ang nag-influence sa akin sa daily horoscope, sa lahat. Kung ano po ang susuutin ko, sinusunod talaga namin ang horoscope sa day na yun,” she said.
The 16-year-old star also added that she was glad because their director Joven Tan does not put pressure on her and Manolo Pedrosa, knowing that it was their first time to do a movie.
After their PBB stint, Maris Racal and Manolo Pedrosa became a part of the defunct series “Hawak Kamay,” They have top-billed also their respective episodes in the drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
