The kapamilya box-office actor Vice Ganda denied the reports, saying that he has already rekindled his relationship with his former flame, whom he refused to reveal the identity to the public.
In an interview with the press on the sidelines of the PMPC Star Awards, the phenomenal comedian and actor denied the rumors, saying he have not gotten back with his former boyfriend.
When asked if he feels sad about not having a love life, Vice Ganda said that to feel lonely is normal for a person whether for a celebrity or not, but not for a long time.
“Alam mo kahit hindi naman siguro ako artista o wala ako sa estadong ito, normal naman maging malungkot sa lahat ng tao, normal naman maging malungkot huwag lang masyadong matagal. Kailangan mas mahaba pa rin yung masaya ka kesa sa malungkot ka,” he said.
Vice Ganda was rumored to be in a relationship with Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Terrence Romeo, but the latter denied their supposed romance on his previous interviews.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda is currently busy juggling his TV shows which includes the noontime show “It’s Showtime” and the entertainment talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice.”
The 38-year-old performer is also busy shooting for the comedy movie “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” which is part of the year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. Directed by Wenn V. Deramas, the movie also stara James Bimby Yap, Richard Yap and Alex Gonzaga.
After finishing the movie, Vice Ganda will undergo surgery next year in January to remove a polyp in his throat. He will then leave his shows after the operation for the mean time for a complete voice rest.
