These ordinary students who were sisters were used to singing cover songs and posted it on various social networking sites particularly on Facebook and also shared it on YouTube. Their own version of various songs from numerous artists made sisters’ name among the most talked about topics on social media. The sisters were identified as the Duran sisters namely Elaijane and Elaine Duran.

According to the Facebook pages of both Elaijane and Elaine, they were both students, Elaijane Duran is currently studying at Agusan National High School Science and Technology Oriented High School in Butuan City.
Elaijane Duran was born on July 18 while her sister Elaine Duran is now a college student at New Era University in Quezon City, taking up Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts.
Elaijane and Elaine who is more popularly known as the Duran sisters have been making cover songs through their official Facebook account. Some of the songs they performed were even requested by their friends and followers on Facebook.
The Duran Sisters already covered some popular songs such as “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor, “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. One of their latest covers includes the “Chandelier” and a rendition of the Christian song “He Wants It All” by Forever Jones.
The story of Elaine and Elaijane Duran already made headlines nationally as their story was posted in the country’s most popular website and Philippines biggest media network, ABS-CBN.
