Patrick Joseph Amunategui Mabugat, a graduate of University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos has topped the recently conducted Medical Technologist Licensure Examination with 90.90% over-all rating.
Yzabel Silvestre Battad and Gabrielle Paul Soriano Pascual, both from Saint Louis University, landed on the second spot. The two garnered a total of 90.70 rating percentage.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), a total of 2,986 out of 3,615 examinees successfully passed the MedTech Board Exam given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao this September 2014.
Dr. Marietta C. Baccay, Chairman; Ms. Marilyn R. Atienza and Ms. Marian M. Tantingco are among the members of Board of Medical Technology who gave the MedTech licensure examination.
PRC stated in its official website the requirements for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration which the applicants must comply. Registration will be on September 29 & 30, 2014.
The date and venue for the oath-taking will be announced later according to PRC.
Examinees who failed to passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination can register as Medical Laboratory Technician but had obtained a general rating of at least 70%.
