Kapamilya star Matteo Guidicelli reveals the reason why his girlfriend-Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo was absent during the 8th Star Magic Ball held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel last Saturday, September 6, 2014.
According to the 25-year-old actor, Sarah G. “has a commitment ahead already in her schedule.”
Matteo Guidicelli arrived at the prestigious event without a date which triggered the press to ask him why he had no companion on the annual gathering of popular stars in the country.
“Wala nga, eh. Wala this year,” he said. “May trabaho siya (Geronimo) ngayon, may commitment siya ngayon at hindi niya maiwanan ‘yung commitment niya,” Matteo Guidicelli told ABS-CBN News and other members of the press.
The celebrity couple recently made rounds online after Sarah Geronimo herself, announced in June that she is indeed in a relationship with Matteo Guidicelli. The two has been placed in a tough patch earlier following reports that Sarah Geronimo’s mom  Divine disallowed her to follow Matteo in Cebu where he had a race.
Meanwhile, at least 200 renowned stars attended the Star Magic Ball 2014. Present on the annual event are the hottest love teams of the country, celebrity couples and even politicians.
Teen stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, Heart Evangelista and Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero are among who stunned during the annual event.
