“The Voice Kids” grand finalist Darren Espanto once again shared a stage with his coach, PopStar Princess Sarah Geronimo as they perform a duet of classical ballad “Alone” in ASAP on Sunday, August 31, 2014.
The two featured a breath-taking performance in the variety show. Their rendition of Heart’s classic song drew massive cheers, screams and applause from the audience.
The 13-year-old Canada-born singer is one of the finalist of the Philippine edition of the world-renowned singing competition which recently concluded naming Lyca Gairanod as the first-ever winner.
The 9-year-old Cavite-based singer took home a total of P1 million cash prize, House and Lot from Camella Homes, a Home Appliance Showcase, a musical instrument showcase, and P1 million worth of trust fund.
Darren Espanto came to prominence after he won the Masters Finals of Pinoy Singing Sensation in Edmonton at the age of 10. He made his first television appearance after he joined reality show “The Star” in 2012 naming him as the youngest finalist in the history.
Darren Espanto is currently gearing up with his upcoming concert tour along with critically-acclaimed singer Lani Misalucha and The Voice Kids grand champion Lyca Gairanod. Their tour previously kicked off with a simultaneous performances held in Davao and Cebu.
