8 year old grade 3 pupil was allegedly locked by his teacher in their classroom because of his slow writing. It somehow served as a punishment.
At this moment, the said teacher is facing a formal complaint on what she did on her student.
This incident happened in San Miguel Elementary School in Bato town in Camarines Sur. It is reported on Thursday, August 7, 2014 in GMA News.
On the teachers side, she said that she did not meant to lock the said student in their classroom. She did not just notice that the student is still inside the room at the moment.
The teacher is known to be Margarita Buena.
She also said that the boy rarely wrote. That’s why she told her student not to go home if he is not yet done writing his assignment.
However, the parents of the said student claimed in the school that the said teacher had hurt their children. They are wishing to call for removal of the said teacher in the school. They are also planning to file a formal complaint in the Department of Education.
On the schools part, they said that all the blame will be for the teacher. But then, they will still consider the opinion and stories of both sides.
Whoever parent that their child will be experiencing this, will somehow get to panic. The students in the school are responsibilities of the teachers. The kids or the students are sent to school to learn not to experience such this incident.
However, this issue is not confirmed yet. The school just say that it was all an accident.
