A Filipino entrepreneur got her inspiration to pursue her dreams through the hardships she have encountered in her life. She is no other than Sally Perez.
Perez have dreamed on having her own car, a house and lot and a happy family. However through the years, Perez started to loss hope. For among her 5 siblings, she is the only one who didn’t able to go to school. It seems that her dreams will never become a reality to her. According to her, her other siblings and smart but not her.
Because of the fact that she can’t go school, she just find most of her time thinking on the things that can make her earn money. Her day starts at 5 am as she buys fresh fruits and vegetables in the market and then sell it on the streets.
She have also tried on doing laundries. She have used these incomes to supply her education. This income had made her finish her high school education.
She have also experienced a “break up” that inspired her more to work hard for her success.
As the days went by, Perez uses a Php. 2000.00 worth of capital to buy 2 second hand sewing machines. She have used it to start a new business. This is her hat and head pieces business.
Over the years, their business are being patronized in the market that made her own a small stall in Baclaran together with her husband Edgar. It reaches thousand of pesos in sale.
They also had branched out into the lodging business, operating a 30-room apartelle in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The last thing she said is that the love they share together is the main key why they reached success.
