Lyca Gairanod of Team Sarah performed the song “Pangarap na Bituin” during the semi-finals of The Voice Kids Philippines featuring the top six artists of each team. The Live Shows was held at the Newport Performing Arts, of the Resort World Manila, on Saturday, July 19, 2014.

The 9-year-old Lyca Gairanod got an inspirational message from her idol Angeline Quinto, one of the country’s most prominent and award-winning singer who also started in a singing competition. Before Lyca’s performance, Angeline Quinto wished good luck to the aspiring kid singer.
Lyca Gairanod competes against five semi-finalist which include Team Lea’s Darlene Vibares and Tonton Cabiles, Team Sarah’s Darren Espanto and Team Bamboo’s artists Juan Karlos Labajo and Edray Teodoro.
The results of the Live Show or the semi-finals of The Voice Kids will depend upon the results of the public’s votes. The top four artists with the highest percentage of votes will move on to the next round of the competition, the Grand Finals which will be held next week.
