Darren Espanto “One Moment in Time” Performance Video The Voice Kids Semis

Darren Espanto one of Team Sarah’s aspiring kid singers performed the song “One Moment in Time,” a timeless masterpiece of Whitney Houston during the Live Show of The Voice Kids Philippines, held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of the Resorts World Manila on July 19, 2014.

Right after the remarkable performance of the 12-year-old Darren Espanto, the YouTube sensation and aspiring singer from Calgary, Alberta, Coach Lea commended his performance. Lea Salonga was quoted as saying “You really make an advantage of this competition and you’re amazing,” Coach Lea stated.

Coach Sarah Geronimo on her part was so impressed with Darren’s spectacular performance and she was quoted as saying “Talagang handang-handa ka Darren, Total package ka na. Mabait kang bata,” Coach Sarah said.

Darren Espanto competes against five semi-finalist which include Team Lea’s Darlene Vibares and Tonton Cabiles, Team Sarah’s Lyca Gairanod and Team Bamboo’s artists Juan Karlos Labajo and Edray Teodoro.

The results of the Live Show or the semi-finals of The Voice Kids will depend upon the results of the public’s votes. The top four artists with the highest percentage of votes will move on to the next round of the competition, the Grand Finals which will be held next week.
