The young actress Julia Barretto wanted to work with the actor-heartthrob John Lloyd Cruz in the future as she wanted to learn a lot of things from him especially on the acting field.
In an interview with entertainment site PEP, the “Mira Bella” star said that she is okay without having a love team and she prefers to work with various actors in the showbiz industry.
Julia Barretto said that if she will given the chance, she would likely choose the box-office actor to work with for she knows that she will learn more things especially now that she still considers her self as a showbiz newbie.
“He’s a good actor. I feel that when you work with someone as good as him, marami kang matututunan. Actually, that’s what you look forward to when working with veterans, madami kang matututunan bilang isang baguhan ka lang,” she said.
After she was launched as a Star Magic member in 2013, Julia Barretto said that she became a more serious in her career than she was still a child actress, saying that she is not aware of showbiz yet at the very young age.
The 17-year-old star also wished that the management would give her more mature roles following the success of her hit fantasy series “Mira Bella” to further develop her skill in acting.
Julia Barretto also said that she is not trying to follow the paths of her aunts Gretchen Barretto and Claudine Barretto because she wanted to make her own mark in the industry on her own but she considers them as her inspiration.
