Before the untimely death of De La Salle-College of St. Benilde student Guillo Cesar Servando, one of his companion called the emergency call center of DILG, Hotline 117. The Emergency Hotline, Patrol 117 asked help and linked to the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC), who responded and went to help the victim.

According to initial investigation, the alleged caller of Emergency 117 was identified as John Paul Raval, the owner of Unit 2907, 29th Floor of Archer’s One Place condominium located at Taft Avenue, Manila.
The caller of DILG”s Emergency Hotline 117 noted during the conversation that they just found their friend drunk and no longer moving, he never mentioned that they were victims of a fraternity hazing.
A team from the PNRC responded to Emergency Hotline call, the Red Cross arrived at the condominium unit and found the 18-year-old victim, Guillo Cesar Servando was no longer breathing. Aside from Servando, the two other schoolmates and hazing survivors were identified as Lorenzo Agustin, and an unidentified victim who is just 17 years old.
According to the authorities investigation, Guillo Cesar Servando’s body turned black and blue after the alleged hazing incident. The main cause of his death was due to traumatic injuries in his trunk and lower extremeties, which according to Dr. Willie Ong, Guillo’s nerves or vital organs could have been badly hit during the initiation of the suspected members of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity.
