Gab Valenciano revealed the reasons, why he backed out in the hit reality talent search “America’s Got Talent,” during an interview with ABS-CBN. According to the son of Gary Valenciano, he quit the show because of “more permanent opportunities” that came along the way.

The statement of the 26-year-old Gab Valenciano was contrary to the previous rumors spreading online that the Filipino actor, dancer and musician got eliminated from the famous “America’s Got Talent” reality show.
Gab Valenciano noted during the interview that what actually he did is for his long-term goals because he plans to build his own media company in the United States. Although the opportunity to be featured on America’s Got Talent was great but he soon realized that the main reason of his stay in the United States is to enjoy the things that he really loved.
The son of Garry V., also added that he want to pursue his passion which is the music and video production and he don’t want to be distracted with just a few seconds of fame in joining the reality show, he wants to focus on his career and the things that he loved most, which according to him could be done with the help of his friend.
Aside from Gab Valenciano’s plan of doing business in the United States, the other reason why he decided to return to the Philippines and didn’t pursue his plans of joining the reality show is because of his father’s upcoming repeat concert.
Gab Valenciano clarified that he returned to the Philippines not because he failed in “America’s Got Talent,” but because of the reason that he wants to support his father’s repeat concert “Arise.” After the concert, he will surely return to the United States to pursue his dreams of building his own media company.
