The world’s largest social networking site Facebook is currently down, not only in the Philippines but in various parts of the world. Almost all Facebook users around the country are now surprised with the recent development of Facebook which is considered as part of our daily lives.
Update: Facebook is now back to normal.
Right now there is no official statement from any officials of the Menlo Park-based Facebook, the world’s largest with more than 1 Billion users around the world.
The world’s largest social networking sites appears to be down for a large number of people across the globe. Some Facebook users complaint through other social networks and blogs that they can’t log in to their respective accounts.
When you log in to Facebook.com, a message appear that reads: “Sorry, something went wrong. We are working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.” There is a “Go Back” button underneath the error message but when you try to log in it shows the same message.
The Facebook Down problem is not only limited to its web app, even the Facebook app for Android and iOS is unable to load. In the Philippines the term RIP Facebook become one of the top trending topics on Twitter.
