The veteran players and experienced players of the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat and captured their Fifth (5th) NBA title on Sunday (Monday morning Philippines) with the final score at 104-87.

The San Antonio Spurs was able to pressure the Miami Heat they overcame a 16-point deficit to lead the defending champion at 47040 at halftime. The Spurs made a terrific performance in the next period and leave the former champion in the dust with 30-18 blitz in the third quarter.
The NBA title of the San Antonio Spurs is their fifth since the year 2007 and proved the dominance of the Spurs trio which comprised of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, three of the most veterans players for the Spurs.
San Antonio’s Kawhi Leonard scored with 22 points for the NBA champion team while former MVP and scoring champion LeBron James led the Miami Heat with 31 points who was stopped by the Spurs during the second quarter scoring with just three points.
The San Antonio Spurs captured the NBA Championship through 4-1 advantage in the best-of-seven NBA series. The team was able to avenged their last year’s loss to Miami Heat, the team who were bidding for their third consecutive NBA Championship.
