Nova Villa partners once again with Freddie Webb in an endearing story of pursuing a first love in the retirement years in 1st Ko si 3rd, an official entry to the 2014 Cinemalaya Film Festival. The Cinemalaya Film Foundation Inc., and the Cultural Center of the Philippines are the organizers of the annual Cinemalaya Film Festival in the Philippines.

After decades of silence in the limelight, the comedic duo does an independent film taming the antics to a level of sweet reality. The film presents Cory, played by Villa, to have done the most normal life a woman could have– getting married, having a family, finishing a career to retire… Then Third, portrayed by Freddie Webb, comes in the picture as Cory’s first love from the past. This is where the somewhat conflict cum adventure would excite audiences.
1st Ko si 3rd is written and directed by Real Florido. Show dates are on August 1 to 10, 2014 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines and Ayala Cinemas.
The writer and director of the Cinemalaya Entry 1st Ko Si 3rd, Mr. Real S. Florido, is also the man behind the 2-minute short film titled “Mr. Perfect,” the short film earned international recognition. It was chosen as part of the Supreme Films List in the 2008 Shoot4life, an international blood donation awareness campaign in Hungary.
The short film “Mr. Perfect” also won 3rd Place People’s Choice Awards in the 1st 180 Microcinema Film Festival headed by the Film Development Council of the Philippines. Mr. Real S. Florido’s first short film titled “Parang Sirang Plaka” was an official entry selection to the 2007 Chicago Filipino American Film Festival in the United States and one of the finalist in the 9th Cinemanila International Film festival, Young Cinema Night Short Film Competition in the Philippines.
