Kapamilya multi-awarded singer-actress Toni Gonzaga visited the set of ABS-CBN’s morning show “Umgagang Kay Ganda” and performed her newest single “Awit Ni Ginny” on Tuesday June 10, 2014.
The song which she composed is included in her fifth studio album “Celestine” under the Star Records. Celestine is the true name of the multi-media star.
According to the 30-year-old star, “Celestine” is the most personal album for her because there was a time that she became vulnerable with her feelings and she can relate to the songs.
“I Came to a point where in I’m so vulnerable and I was able to relate so much with every song na inawit ko doon sa album,” she said.
“Awit Ni Ginny” was written during the shoot of her box-office movie “Starting Over Again” which also stars Piolo Pascual, where she plays the character of Ginny in the film.
“Yung ‘Awit ni Ginny’, tinawagan ako ni Jonathan Manalo, ‘yong album producer. Sabi niya, if pwede daw ako mag sulat ng kanta para doon sa album, so nag sulat ako,” she said.
Toni Gonzaga will also have a grand album launch on June 22, 2014 live on Eastwood, Central Plaza. “Celestine” is now available on all leading record bars nationwide with an affordable price of 250 pesos.
Meanwhile, Toni Gonzaga is also busy hosting the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother All In” and the entertainment and news talk show “The Buzz”
