Ten Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines 2013 Honored

Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III honored and praised on Tuesday, the Ten Outstanding Policewomen in the Philippines for the year 2013 because of their bravery and excellence as members of the police force.

The Ten (10) Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines is an annual competition whose aim is to discover and recognize the efforts and achievements of the female members of our national police force.

The winners are selected based on the following criteria: a) their service record and achievements and b) a panel interview with a board of judges selected by the organizer.

Nine of the Ten Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines paid a courtesy call to the President, the only officer who did not visit the President was the one who is currently on her maternity leave.
