Singer-writer Marlene Aguilar slammed her niece Maegan Aguilar, the daughter of OPM icon Freddie Aguilar via open letter she posted on Facebook in connection with their feud which erupted earlier.
The controversy between the “Anak” hitmaker and his daughter broke out after the latter blast her father for throwing her out into the streets along with her two kids over an incident involving “rotten vegetables” and her unpaid debt of P1,500.
Maegan Aguilar accused Ka Freddie of being “a bad man and negligent father.” The daughter of the multi-awarded singer stressed that she has been defending her father who has been criticized after he entered into a relationship with a teenage girl whom he married last year through Islamic rites.

The 61-year-old singer-songwriter on the other hand, denied the allegations of her daughter and noted that he has no intentions to drag his daughter to downfall for entertainment’s sake.
